A Cry for Help – Magret Muthoni’s Story

In the quiet village of Mwihoko lives Magret Muthoni, a mother of seven beautiful children. Behind her brave smile hides a story of pain, struggle, and silent tears.

For years, Magret has carried a heavy burden — a growing tumor on the left side of her face. What began as a small swelling has now become a constant source of suffering, robbing her of peace, dignity, and hope. Each day, she wakes up not only to her pain but also to the cries of her children — children who depend on her for love, food, and education.

But Magret has nothing. She cannot afford even the smallest of school fees. Her little ones are often sent back home, watching their friends learn while they sit outside, confused and heartbroken. Hunger is a frequent visitor in their small home, and sometimes, all she can give her children is water to silence their stomachs.

The tumor has not only taken away her health but also her ability to provide. Every time she walks in public, people stare, whisper, and some even avoid her. She has been rejected, stigmatized, and left to carry this heavy cross alone. Yet behind the swollen face is a woman who dreams of a better tomorrow for her children — a mother who still hopes that someone, somewhere, will hear her cry.

Magret’s story is not just about sickness; it is about seven innocent children whose future is slowly being stolen. Unless help comes, they risk growing up in poverty, without education, without hope.

Today, Magret needs us. She needs urgent medical care, food for her family, and school fees for her children. Above all, she needs love, compassion, and the assurance that she is not forgotten.

Her life is a plea — a plea for mercy, for kindness, and for a chance to live again.
